It is our pleasure to welcome you to Little Italy Hotel & Restaurant, located in the heart of the Pacific, the Kingdom of Tonga. Situated just west of the International Date Line and east of Fiji, Tonga is unique in that it is the only monarchy in the Pacific.
Its 176 islands, 36 of them inhabited, are divided into four distinct parts Tongatapu, 'Eua, Ha'apai, Vava'u and the two Niuas (Niua Toputapu and Niua Fo'ou) islands. The largest island, Tongatapu, on which the capital city of Nuku'alofa is located, covers 257 square kilometers (99 sq. mi.) and that's where Little Italy located.
Little Italy offers the finest vista, walking distance to the Royal palace and 2 minutes drive to downtown Nuku'alofa. It was our dreams when we built the Hotel in 2008, to satisfy three essentials, yet simple, expectations:
