Buffet Breakfast (Cooked and Continental)

Start your day with a generous spread, including: eggs (boiled, scrambled, or poached — rotating), bacon, ham or sausages (rotating), baked beans or steamed vegetables (rotating), fresh fruit, cereal, muesli, milk, juice, yogurt, bread (white and brown), pancakes, muffins, and fresh avocado (in season).

Our Ocean View Rooms are compact yet comfortable, thoughtfully arranged to offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. Each room features a king-size bed, private ensuite bathroom, and a private balcony with outdoor seating overlooking the Pacific Ocean — perfect for unwinding during your time in Nuku’alofa. From your balcony, watch the morning sunrise or the beautiful moon and stars at night, and if you’re lucky, you might spot whales swimming by during whale season (July to October) or catch a cruise ship passing through. You’ll also enjoy the lively buzz of diners visiting our popular Italian restaurant downstairs.

We also have one interconnecting Ocean View option, ideal for families or groups travelling together. It connects a standard Ocean View Room (king-size bed) with an adjoining room that features a double bed, full kitchen, full-size refrigerator, and microwave — perfect for longer stays or self-catering. Standard Ocean View rates apply per room. Please note: this interconnecting option must be booked directly with the hotel (not through the website) and is subject to availability.

Room amenities: King-size bed, private ensuite bathroom, private balcony with ocean view, air conditioning, teapot, coffee and tea maker, refrigerator, free unlimited wireless internet, 42-inch smart TV, in-room safe, hair dryer, telephone, iron and ironing board, laundry bag, and daily room service.

Good to Know

The shoreline in front of the hotel is a natural rocky foreshore rather than a sandy swimming beach. At low tide, you may sometimes see locals collecting shells or fishing in the shallows — a lovely glimpse of everyday Tongan life. At high tide, the water is suitable for swimming for guests who don’t mind a rocky entry (water shoes recommended). For sandy swimming beaches, there are several beautiful options about 20 to 30 minutes’ drive away.
